Ella McKay | Graduate of Architecture
Ella joins us from New Zealand. She completed her Bachelor of Architecture in 2021 and Master of Architecture Professional in 2023 from Victoria University of Wellington.
While completing her studies, Ella gained practical experience working for architecture practices on residential and small-scale commercial projects in New Zealand. Ella has tutored design studios at Victoria University of Wellington through her studies and recently at the University of Technology Sydney.
Ella is passionate about design and big picture thinking. This was demonstrated in her Master’s thesis; an urban-architectural regeneration scheme prioritising landscape and accessibility to better connect a city centre. This project was selected and presented as a finalist for the NZIA Student Design Awards 2022.
Alongside architecture, Ella has a keen interest for landscape architecture and urban design and is excited to get involved with the multi-disciplinary projects and public architecture at lahznimmo.
