lahznimmo architects were engaged by the Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority, (SHFA) to provide Feasibility and Concept Design Services for a small pavilion building Site “O” in Pirrama Road, Pyrmont. The brief for the pavilion was to house a Café/Restaurant and public amenites. The site sits in the corner of Pyrmont Point Park and has spectacular views of the Harbour and Harbour Bridge. lahznimmo architects worked with SHFA staff as well as Success Cycle to develop a working brief for the site with options for later expansion to incorporate a function room or additional restaurant seating. Success Cycle assisted in determining the optimum size of the restaurant, number of indoor and outdoor seats, and size of the kitchen and back of house facilities. The different options developed for both one and two storey developments were then assessed and a preferred option established.
